Breath and Dust

by Peter Nolon

Breath and Dust is a visual and written exploration of the streets of Eastleigh, Nairobi and the people who live and make a living there. Much more than that, it is an exploration of what it means to be human, what it means to be filled with both the dust of the earth and the breath of the Divine. Peter Nolon combines images, interviews and his own story to take a deeper look at the places where we all are broken and divided, with the hope of finding there what binds us all together.

“When we make it our purpose to slow down

and to look at the places where our tales

crash into each other, I believe we find the

Divine there, binding us together.”
